"Peter Herman has actually completed two hardwood jobs for us. He installed and finished the original floors in our addition/remodel in 2005. His work was so good, we decided to have him come back and refinish the floors after a water accident from a broken ice maker line in April 2017. The floors were still in great shape, other than the water damage, but we opted to have the entire main level refinished so it wouldn’t look weird to have new flooring in one part and not the other. He came out to inspect the damage in April 2017 and advised us to wait a few months if we could live with it. The floors were buckled, but he felt like he might be able to save the wood if time was given to drying. He was right. He came back in October to actually do the work. The floors had dried out and flattened (somewhat) and he was able to sand them to be perfectly smooth. Mr. Herman spent extra time hand-sanding spots under/around cabinets and also door thresholds. I was especially pleased that there really wasn’t a massive amount of dust. He was meticulous with the vacuum and made sure everything was clean before the polyurethane. He even vacuumed out my vents before he applied the poly. Peter Herman does awesome work! He pays attention to every detail. He arrives on time (sometimes even a little early) and works tirelessly to complete the job when he says he is going to. We would definitely hire him again!"

"Mr. Peter Herman, installed hardwood floors in my home last summer and he did a wonderful job. He is a true craftsman, always on time, and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. I highly recommend him. I give him 5 stars all the way."
